Senators Hoffman, Kawasaki, Reinbold, Revak, von Imhof, Wielechowski were excused from a call of the Senate. Senators Hughes, Shower were absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Kiehl. Senator Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. V’hi noam Adonai eloheinu aleinu, uma’asay yadeinu con’nah aleinu, uma’asay yadeinu con’nahu! Let the beauty of our Eternal G-d be with us, and may our work have lasting value.
