Heavenly Father, Abba, We come before you today in the Alaska State Capitol and ask for your direction and wisdom, for your word says: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind." James 1:5 "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." Psalm 139:14 Your word says "If we confess our sin, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." John 1:9 As Passover begins tomorrow at sundown, I ask you prepare our hearts for your Holy Week. I lift all the prayers of all the saints to you, King of kings and Lord of lords. 2021-03-26 Senate Journal Page 0550 Like a hand in a glove, I ask you guide and direct us. I ask you bless each legislator in his or her work, to use common sense as issues are deliberated, and strength of conviction to do what is right. I ask for healing for those struggling with serious illness. Your will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Heavenly Father, I ask you draw near to the broken hearted and comfort those who mourn the loss of their loved ones today. I know you are on your throne and I sing: Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
