Unfinished Business Senator Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent the Senate interpret Uniform Rule 24(a) to allow Senate committee members to participate in person, or by videoconference from the Capitol complex on all matters before the committee, including moving a bill from committee by roll call vote, as long as members that participate by videoconference return to the committee meeting room to sign the committee report, and the Chair confirms on the record the signatures of members before adjourning the meeting; this is to address social distancing recommendations for COVID-19, and remains in effect until adjournment of the first regular session of the Thirty-second Alaska State Legislature.
