Representatives Edgmon, Kreiss-Tomkins, and Zulkosky were absent and their presence was noted later. Representative Rauscher was absent and later excused (page 2892). Representatives McCarty, Nelson, and Shaw were absent. The House observed a meditative moment of silence. Representative Thompson moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Merrick. CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative Tuck moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the 117th legislative day be approved as certified by the Chief Clerk. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Eastman, citing Uniform Rule 13, rose to a point of order regarding the House meeting on Sunday without a majority vote of the body to do so. The Speaker ruled the point out of order.
