Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I come to You on behalf of this Alaska State Senate. Please let Your hand of blessing rest upon every member. May Your strength sustain them in the rigors of their office. May Your peace replace the stress that comes as the result of heavy responsibility under the public eye. May they find in You a friend they can depend on. Let their labor be directed by Your wisdom, and therefore productive and good for the State. Bless also the staff members and other support personnel, without which this Senate could not function efficiently. Father, we praise You for Your blessings in the past. We also thank You for Your present help, and we trust in Your grace for our future. Please keep us on the right path to insure it. Amen.
