Shema Yisraeil: Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad!
Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord is
One!

Praised be the Lord our God, Ruler of the universe,
who makes light and creates darkness, who ordains
peace and fashions all things.

Bless us, our Creator, one and all, with the light of
Your presence; for by that light, O God, You have
revealed to us the law of life; to love kindness and
justice and mercy and to seek blessing, life, and
peace.

You stretched out the heavens and ordered the earth,
that fruits may grow into sweetness, men and
women into goodness.

The earth is full of God's goodness.
