Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the                       
Resources Committee Findings on SENATE BILL NO. 318 An Act                     
authorizing, approving, and ratifying the amendment of Northstar               
Unit oil and gas leases between the State of Alaska and BP                     
Exploration (Alaska) Inc.; and providing for an effective date be              
published in a Senate Journal Supplement.                                      
                                                                               
Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw his

Senator Taylor, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the              
Judiciary Committee referral be waived on CS FOR HOUSE BILL                    
NO. 437(FIN) An Act establishing the Judicial Officers                         
Compensation Commission; relating to the compensation of supreme               
court justices, judges of the court of appeals, judges of the superior         
court, and district court judges; and providing for an effective date.         
Without objection, the bill was referred to the Finance Committee.

The reconsideration on CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 43(L&C) An                       
Act relating to registration by the Board of Registration for                  
Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors; clarifying the meaning of           
practicing or offering to practice architecture, engineering, or land          
surveying; and amending the definition of `practice of land                    
surveying' was not taken up this legislative day and the bill was              
referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
