Representative Brown had been previously excused from a call of the House today. Representatives Finkelstein and Mulder were absent and their presence was noted later. Representative Nicholia was later excused. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor David Horn of the Faith Lutheran Church. Representative Brice moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it appears below: Dear Heavenly Father, You well know what we need even before we ask You. Show us Your mercy, we pray, and be with those assembled here, Your instruments and servants of the people of Alaska, that they might be given wisdom to distinguish between what is wanted and what is needed.
