Representatives Ivan and Navarre had been previously excused from a call of the House today. Representatives Finkelstein and Hanley were absent. COMMUNICATIONS A memorandum dated February 28, 1995, from Representative Martin, Chairman of the Legislative Budget & Audit Committee was read, regarding action taken by the Committee concerning the purchase of a new office building by Alaska Housing Finance corporation in Anchorage. "Following considerable discussion at our meeting of February 23, Senator Halford made the following motion: `...that the Budget and Audit Committee send the notification to the AHFC that we would like them to terminate this project and take all actions prudent and necessary to minimize any potential liquidation damages. And that it is the recommendation of the Budget and Audit Committee that the legislature not fund any money going into this project.'
