CALL TO ORDER
REPRESENTATIVE FRED DYSON, Chair, convened the House Health,
Education, and Social Services Standing Committee meeting at
3:07 p.m.
PRESENT
Committee members present were Representative Dyson, Wilson,
Coghill, Cissna, Joule, Stevens, and Kohring.
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
MATTHEW TURNER, Program Coordinator, Division of Family and
Youth Services, Department of Health and Social Services,
presented an overview of the Independent Living program. This
program is designed to provide support to those youth who are
aging out of foster care.
THERESA TANOURY, Director, Central Office, Division of Family
and Youth Services, Department of Health and Social Services,
presented an overview of foster care.
