Speaker pro tempore Patkotak invited Speaker Stutes to the rostrum.                                                             
                                                                                                                                
The Speaker received a round of applause and delivered brief opening                                                            
remarks regarding the Thirty-Second Alaska State Legislature.                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
The Speaker stated that, without objection, the House would recess to                                                           
a Call of the Chair; and so, the House recessed at 10:13 a.m.
