The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Major Petr Janousek, The Salvation Army. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Gracious God, Thank you for wisdom you are giving us in your word. In Psalm 133 is written How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. I understand Lord that we might have different opinions, perspectives or goals and so I pray for mutual respect, listening and understanding heart and patience with each other so that your blessing may flow through this amazing state of Alaska. In the name of Jesus I pray, AMEN. Senator Yundt led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. 2026-05-11 Senate Journal Page 2560 Certification Senator Giessel moved and asked unanimous consent the journal for the one hundred ninth through one hundred eleventh legislative days be approved as certified by the Secretary.
