Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that Representative Schwanke be excused from a call of the House today. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Guy Crockroft of Love INC Juneau. Representative Story moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day and this beautiful state of Alaska. Thank you for this governing body, the Alaska House of Representatives. I pray your blessings upon each representative as they serve both today and throughout the session. May you grant each representative patience and compassion as they work together. Help them to carefully listen to each other and their constituents and seek to truly understand 2025-03-06 House Journal Page 0302 opposing points of view with open minds and open hearts. Help them to love one another. Grant them the ability to make wise decisions so that we all may benefit from their efforts, and that they may themselves be blessed. As Romans 13:10 says, Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
