The question being: "Shall HCS CSSJR 19(RES) be adopted?" Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Coulombe: 2025-05-17 House Journal Page 1269 Page 4, line 12, following "land;": Insert "and WHEREAS United States Representative Nicholas Begich has been working hard to support, through a budget reconciliation proposal, the instatement of a 90 percent share to the state of all bonuses, royalties, and rentals under leases received by the federal government for exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in the coastal plain of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge;" Page 4, line 22, following "program": Insert "; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED that the Alaska State Legislature thanks United States Representative Nicholas Begich for his work to instate the 90 percent share to the state of mineral revenue received by the federal government for exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in the state" Representative Coulombe moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Fields objected. Amendment No. 1 to Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Bynum: Page 1, line 4 of the amendment: Delete ", through a budget reconciliation proposal," Representative Bynum moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 to Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 to Amendment No. 1 was adopted. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 as amended be adopted?" Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSJR 19(RES) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There was objection. HCS CSSJR 19(RES) will advance to third reading on the May 18 calendar.
