The following, which was advanced to third reading from the                                                                     
March 17 calendar (page 465), was read the third time:

    HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 6                                                                                                
    Urging the United States Congress to safeguard the Universal                                                                
    Service Fund to ensure continued funding for essential programs                                                             
    that support critical broadband and telecommunication                                                                       
    infrastructure and services for low-income rural residents of the                                                           
    state.                                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that HJR 6                                                                
be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering                                                           
Amendment No. 2. There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
Amendment No. 2 was offered  by Representative Costello:

    Delete "approximately 137,600 rural students"

Representative Costello moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                  
Amendment No. 2 be adopted.                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection,                                                            
Amendment No. 2 was adopted.
