Full Journal pdf2026-05-20 House Journal Page 2967 HB 28 A message dated May 19 was received stating the Senate passed: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 28(FIN) am "An Act establishing a student loan repayment pilot program; and providing for an effective date." with the following amendment, and it is transmitted for consideration: 2026-05-20 House Journal Page 2968 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 28(FIN) am S "An Act relating to education; relating to reimbursement of school district energy costs; relating to correspondence study program materials; relating to substitute teaching; relating to the qualifications of school board members; relating to school consolidation; relating to the required local contribution made by a city or borough school district for public school funding; relating to reemploying retired members of the teachers' retirement system at regional resource centers; establishing a teachers' student loan repayment pilot program; and providing for an effective date." (SCR 21 - title change resolution) HB 28 Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Kopp moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment?" There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Chief Clerk notified the Senate. SCS CSHB 28(FIN) am S was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
