Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President                                                             
Stevens at 11:01 a.m.                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
The roll showed nineteen members present. Senator Stedman was                                                                   
excused from a call of the Senate.                                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Karen Perkins,                                                                 
Resurrection Lutheran Church. Senator Hoffman moved and asked
