The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Ally Karpel, student Rabbi, Congregation Sukkat Shalom. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Source of Life, grant moral clarity, foresight, and wisdom to the elected officials in this chamber; those who have dedicated their lives to the greater good of the public. Sustainer of Creation, let the legislation that is created here help sustain the wellbeing of all Alaskans. Root of All That Is, may today’s session be rooted in collaboration, goodwill, and integrity. May the seeds that are planted today lead to a more just and peaceful tomorrow.
