Dear Lord, I ask today that you allow us to remember. To remember each time we have been shown the immeasurable beauty of the world, of such grandeur that we cannot help but feel small. To remember the sublime. To remember our grandest motives which drive us ever towards achieving our goals, and also the smaller motives which allow us to get up each morning. To remember how great a gift it is that we are capable of wanting things and being driven toward them by that feeling. I ask that we may forget ourselves for just a moment and remember you, Lord, in all the ways you gloriously manifest upon this earth. Amen.
