Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that Representatives Armstrong, Eastman, Fields, Mears, and Sumner be excused from a call of the House today. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Father Michael Galbraith of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Representative Vance moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Gracious and merciful God, we give you thanks for giving us another day. Send your spirit upon the members of this people's house to encourage them in their official tasks. Assure them that in the fulfillment of their responsibilities, you will provide the grace to enable them to be faithful in their duties, and the wisdom to be conscious of their obligations to fulfill them with integrity.
