With the deepest respect for all people including those with differing beliefs, I invite you into a time of prayer and reflection: God, you are great. God, you are good. It was by your word that all was created. It is by your will that all is sustained. I come to you today on behalf of the leaders of this state. They have been given the power by you to govern and lead us. So, I lift them up in prayer to you, asking you to guide them in their decisions. I pray that you give them wisdom and understanding in the deliberations of their decisions. I pray for their health and their families. I pray for their contentment and joy. I pray that they may find those things in you. 2023-04-19 House Journal Page 0764 May the people of this state be blessed by you through these representatives.
