Senator von Imhof was absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Bernard Damerval, Senate page. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the beauty of the Earth and the lives we live upon it; for Your providence and grace; For giving humanity the inspiration to craft this building and the system which operates within. We thank you for the opportunity to serve our state and its people. Lord, we gather in Your name to ask that You bless our business today and grant the people of this body the clarity to see the path forward and follow it, unified by the cause of progress. Amen. Senator Begich led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Certification Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent the journals for the one hundred second through one hundred fourth legislative days be approved as certified by the Secretary. Messages from the Governor A letter dated April 29 was received pursuant to AS 26.23.020 requesting concurrence to approve revised Finance Plans for the 2018 Cook Inlet Earthquake, 2020 Southeast Storm, and 2021 Southcentral Storm federally declared disasters. The letter and revised finance plans had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs.
