Innocent brought Good News to the people in the Unangan and Lingit tongues during his time in Alaska. Holy Immortal One, you are gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and of great kindness. You are loving to everyone, and your compassion extends over all your works. Guide our steps, so that, just as Innocent labored humbly in danger and hardship; wherever we are led, we may gladly serve and honor the offices we hold in privation as in power. Bless your people, by calling our Senators to act with justice for all, to decide with the grace of mercy, and to work with respect for the needs of every living creature in this Great Land. Amen. 2022-03-30 Senate Journal Page 2162 Senator Kiehl led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
