Senator Bishop was excused from a call of the Senate. Senators Costello, Kawasaki, Revak, Shower, von Imhof were absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Nancy Campbell, White Fields Church. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Heavenly Father, I praise your holy name this day, O Lord. I give glory and honor to You as I come before You to pray for the Senate. Bless the Senators now as they gather together to represent their districts from all around Alaska. Give them clarity of mind as they finish this week’s work and be with those who are traveling home. Keep them safe, Lord. Renew their strength and grant them rest over the weekend. I also pray for divine connections in their comings and goings and that You would answer their heart’s desires. “I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1,2 I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen. 2022-02-25 Senate Journal Page 1892 Senator Wilson led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
