Senators Olson, von Imhof were excused from a call of the Senate. Senators Gray-Jackson, Shower, Stevens, Wielechowski were absent. Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent Senators Shower, Stevens be excused from a call of the Senate today. Without objection, Senators Shower, Stevens were excused. Senator Begich moved and asked unanimous consent Senators Gray- Jackson, Wielechowski be excused from a call of the Senate today. Without objection, Senators Gray-Jackson, Wielechowski were excused. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Bishop. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Without objection, it was so ordered. Standing Committee Reports SB 3006 The Labor and Commerce Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 3006 "An Act relating to utilization review requirements; making temporary changes to state law in response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19); relating to telemedicine and telehealth; relating to background checks; and providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced with CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 3006(L&C) "An Act relating to utilization review requirements; making temporary changes to state law in response to the novel coronavirus disease; relating to telemedicine and telehealth; relating to background checks; and providing for an effective date." Senator Costello, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Labor and Commerce Committee Substitute offered on page 1420. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 3006(L&C) "An Act relating to utilization review requirements; making temporary changes to state law in response to the novel coronavirus disease; relating to telemedicine and telehealth; relating to background checks; and providing for an effective date" was adopted. President Micciche stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 3006(L&C) will advance to third reading on the September 10 calendar. Unfinished Business Senator Reinbold moved and asked unanimous consent to be excused from a call of the Senate from September 11 through January 15, 2022.
