Senators Stedman, von Imhof were excused from a call of the Senate. Senators Costello, Olson, Reinbold, Revak, Shower, Wielechowski were absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Holland. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Lord, our Guide & Helper, Enable us to wisely and efficiently manage our time in this special session. Help us to not waste our valuable time and resources as we have many important issues to resolve. Help us to adhere to the agenda and not sway from our objectives. Help us to clearly understand the goals of this session and the expectations of our constituents and stay focused on those things that will lead us to success. Amen. Senator Kiehl led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent Senators Costello, Reinbold, Revak, Shower be excused from a call of the Senate today. SB 3003 SENATE BILL NO. 3003 BY SENATORS BEGICH, Gray-Jackson, entitled: "An Act relating to the Alaska permanent fund; relating to the sustainable dividend and power cost equalization accounts in the Alaska permanent fund; relating to the power cost equalization endowment fund; relating to the dividend fund; relating to dividends for state residents; relating to the use of certain state income; and providing for an effective date." was read the first time and referred to the Finance Committee.
