Full Journal pdf2021-06-28 Senate Journal Page 1317 SENATE JOURNAL ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE SECOND SPECIAL SESSION Juneau, Alaska Monday June 28, 2021 Sixth Day Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President Micciche at 1:01 p.m. The roll showed eleven members present. Senators Olson, Reinbold, Revak, Stedman, von Imhof were excused from a call of the Senate. Senators Hoffman, Myers, Shower, Wilson were absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Mary Hamann-Roland, Dakota County Commissioner. Senator Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. I gratefully thank you for bringing this body together safely for this special session. I ask that each Senator keep their hearts and minds open to you Holy Spirit, that they may do the greatest good for Alaska. May their decisions be made efficiently and collaboratively to achieve your highest purpose. Thank you for blessing each and every member of the Senate with health, well-being, and clarity of purpose. May the people of Alaska know that their best interest was the guiding compass, when the Senate has completed their work. Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent Senators Hoffman, Myers, Shower, Wilson be excused from a call of the Senate today. Without objection, Senators Hoffman, Myers, Shower, Wilson were excused. Certification Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent the journals for the first through fifth legislative days of the second special session be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. Unfinished Business Senator Begich moved and asked unanimous consent to be excused from a call of the Senate from July 23 through July 25. Without objection, Senator Begich was excused. Announcements Rule 23(d) of the Alaska State Legislature Uniform Rules is currently in effect. SB 69 SENATE BILL NO. 69 am "An Act extending an exemption from regulation as a public utility for plants and facilities generating electricity entirely from renewable energy resources; and providing for an effective date" was enrolled, signed by the President and Secretary, Speaker and Chief Clerk and the engrossed and enrolled copies transmitted to the Office of the Governor at 9:08 a.m., June 28, 2021. SB 70 CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 70(HSS) "An Act relating to opioid overdose drugs; and providing for an effective date" was enrolled, signed by the President and Secretary, Speaker and Chief Clerk and the engrossed and enrolled copies transmitted to the Office of the Governor at 9:08 a.m., June 28, 2021. Adjournment Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent the Second Special Session of the Thirty-Second Alaska State Senate adjourn sine die.
