Full Journal pdf2019-01-18 Senate Journal Page 0045 SENATE JOURNAL ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE FIRST SESSION Juneau, Alaska Friday January 18, 2019 Fourth Day Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President Giessel at 10:31 a.m. The roll showed seventeen members present. Senators Bishop, Kawasaki, Micciche were excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, The Reverend Gordon Blue, Church of the Holy Trinity. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Let us pray with words of the 67th Psalm: 1 May God be merciful to us and bless us, show us the light of his countenance and come to us. 2 Let your ways be known upon earth, your saving health among all nations. 3 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. Spirit of peace, creator Spirit; Help the Alaska Senate to make and keep the great State of Alaska a healthy home for all of its nations and all of its peoples. 5. Certification Senator Costello moved and asked unanimous consent the journals for the second and third legislative days be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. Messages from the Governor Letter dated January 17 was read stating in accordance with art. Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Stedman moved and asked unanimous consent to be excused from a call of the Senate on January 21 to evening plane time.
