Senator Costello moved the Senate concur in the House amendment. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS SB 78(TRB) Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to SB 78? Effective Date 2019-05-03 Senate Journal Page 1017 YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Begich, Bishop, Coghill, Costello, Giessel, Gray-Jackson, Hoffman, Hughes, Kawasaki, Kiehl, Micciche, Olson, Reinbold, Shower, Stedman, Stevens, von Imhof, Wielechowski, Wilson Excused: Birch and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 78(TRB) "An Act establishing May 31 of each year as Katie John Day; and providing for an effective date." Senator Costello moved and asked unanimous consent the vote on concurrence be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
