Father, help us to respect our unique differences and celebrate our common purpose. Help us to work together and confront the issues before us with mutual patience and respect. Please bless us with the courage, wisdom, guidance and foresight to provide for the needs of all our people. 2017-04-27 Senate Journal Page 1078 Heavenly Father, I ask for Your assistance as we deliberate today. Help us to use our best judgement in our actions throughout this day, this week and this session. Help us to see the opportunities that lie ahead of us and to act on those opportunities. Lord, thank you for all of our people in this great state. Thank you for the beauty and richness of Alaska; help us to protect that beauty and access our resources wisely so that many generations of Alaskans can benefit from all that you have provided. Father I, like others on this floor, represent communities where our active and retired military live and work. Father these men, women and families have endured separation, viewed acts of war, suffered physical injury and carry wounds that are unseen and unimaginable. We lift them up to you today, care for each of them as only you can. Father bless our military service men, women and their families, help us to honor and support them in their time of need as they support us in our time of need.
