Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President                                                             
pro tempore Micciche at 11:07 a.m.                                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
The roll showed fourteen members present. Senators Bishop, Coghill,                                                             
Costello, Kelly, Stevens were excused from a call of the Senate.                                                                
Senator Wielechowski was absent.                                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Gordon Krueger, Senate                                                                  
Page. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the                                                                
prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered.

          change, so we may seek to understand before being
