Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President                                                             
Kelly at 11:03 a.m.

The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, The Reverend Gordon Blue,                                                               
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Senator Hoffman moved and asked                                                                  
unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was

          With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of                                                                 
          all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer:                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
          Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of                                                                      
          my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my                                                                      
          strength and my redeemer. Eternal God, fountain of                                                                    
          wisdom, light of clarity, and giver of truth, we thank                                                                
          you for the gift of Psalm 19, and for the blessings of                                                                
          generations. Lord, Your law is perfect, and revives                                                                   
          the soul. Revive then, we pray, the souls of this                                                                     
          Senate, Lord, and awaken in them a hunger for the                                                                     
          wisdom and clarity of your justice. Awaken a                                                                          
          yearning for your just and merciful judgements. More                                                                  
          to be desired are they than gold, much more than fine                                                                 
          gold, sweeter far than honey, than honey in the comb.                                                                 
          By them also is your servant enlightened, and in                                                                      
          keeping them there is great reward. May you be with                                                                   
          these Senators, who have been called by the people
