Dear Lord: Thank you once again for the opportunity to lift each of the representatives before you. In Proverbs it says, The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Thank you that you are active in the affairs of man; and that you are in control, even though we often think we are. I ask you to direct the steps of these 2017-03-22 House Journal Page 0698 legislators. Give them wisdom, give them the ability to discern truth from error, and right from wrong. Protect them from those who would try to lead them in a wrong path to serve their own ends. Lord, help them to have a profitable day today as there is much to accomplish and only so many hours in the day and days in the session. I lift this prayer in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Seaton.
