2017-02-01 House Journal Page 0159 HJR 6 The following was read the second time: HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 6 Expressing the Alaska State Legislature's support and appreciation for legislation introduced by the state's congressional delegation that would allow for the construction of a single-lane gravel road through the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge, connecting the community of King Cove with the Cold Bay Airport; and urging the United States Congress to pass the legislation. with the: Journal Page RES RPT CS(RES) 8DP 1NR 129 FN1: ZERO(LEG) 129 Representative Tuck moved and asked unanimous consent that the following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original resolution: CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 6(RES) (same title) There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Tarr: Page 2, line 29, through page 3, line 1: Delete all material. 2017-02-01 House Journal Page 0160 Page 3, line 3: Delete "once again provide" Insert "ensure continuing" Representative Tarr moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted.
