The roll showed fourteen members present. Senators Bishop, Dunleavy, McGuire, Stedman, Stevens, Stoltze were absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Romo Marasigan. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Lord, Thank you for allowing us to be here to serve you and to do the difficult work of the state on behalf of your people. Senator Gardner moved and asked unanimous consent to be excused from a call of the Senate from evening plane time, June 14 through morning plane time, June 29.
