Representative Claman had been excused from a call of the House today and his presence was noted later. Representatives Colver and Keller were absent and their presence was noted later. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Representative Tuck. Representative Wilson moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer: Dear Father God, we thank you for the opportunity to collectively come together and honor you. No one is born an accident, and we know you have a purpose for each and every one of us, and we thank you for the distinctive talents of all of us who serve together in the legislature. As we work through this special session, we pray we continue to collectively use all of our unique skills and abilities to serve the people according to your will.
