There being no objection, it was so ordered. As we begin today's session, we corporately acknowledge with deep respect the religious beliefs of all Alaskans and simultaneously that we are "one nation under God"; it is thus that I offer this prayer. Gracious Heavenly Father, I thank you for this great state; for the men and women that make up its constituents, the ones who have fought for its existence as a state, and for those that have paved the way for these men and women before me to represent the peoples of Alaska. I thank you for the sacrifices and investments of those that are public servants that are 2015-04-09 House Journal Page 0798 represented in this body. I ask for your favor to rest upon righteous men and women, regardless of political affiliation, that are represented here this day. Righteousness, integrity, and faith were the backbone of our national Founding Fathers and may there be an awakening of these values in our land again. May your wisdom be granted to this body to govern selflessly. May your blessings be upon those who lead with integrity and your favor rest upon those who walk with purity and honor so that when our children look to our flag they will know it means something to be an Alaskan. Help this body to make decisions for the future and not just today. I ask this in your most holy name. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Tuck. CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative Millett moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the 79th legislative day be approved as certified by the Chief Clerk.
