Father, thank you for the privilege of coming to you on this beautiful Juneau morning on behalf of this body of representatives in the great state of Alaska. The issues facing them include matters of relatively ordinary business to those extraordinarily challenging decisions. They are each in great need of your guidance and providence for which I ask you today. Provide for them the will to do the hard things as required. Grant them the humility to work cooperatively with one another for the good of the people of Alaska. Enlighten their minds with wisdom to address the many complex issues facing them. Finally, Father, grant them discernment in deciding which matters need addressed now with urgency and 2015-03-25 House Journal Page 0572 which ought to be left for later.
