Senator Dyson was absent. Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that Senator Dyson be excused from a call of the Senate today, January 22 and January 24. Without objection, Senator Dyson was excused. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. "O you who hear prayer; to you all flesh will come." (Psalm 65:2) To you, O Lord, I come this day in prayer for our Senators. I lift them up to you and ask for your hand of protection to be upon them and upon their families as they conduct business for the state of Alaska. I pray for your guidance in all their endeavors this session. Bless the fruit of their labors. Give them wisdom as they counsel together. May they be blessed with good health. I pray specifically for Senator Fred Dyson this day. I pray for good health for him and a speedy recovery, Lord. God, grant him your healing touch. Now let your peace, your presence, and your blessings be upon them as they begin this legislative session. In Jesus' name, Amen. Certification Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the ninetieth legislative day of the First Session, the First and Final Supplements of the First Session, Senate Journal Supplement No. 9 and House and Senate Joint Journal Supplement No. 7 be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. Messages from the Governor Declarations of Disaster Emergency regarding Fire Suppression, dated September 23, 2013, October 21, 2013, November 20, 2013, December 11, 2013, and January 6, 2014, with accompanying letters were received. The declarations and letters had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs. A Declaration of Disaster Emergency regarding the Kenai Peninsula Borough Flood, dated November 18, 2013, with an accompanying letter was received. The declaration and letter had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs. A Declaration of Disaster Emergency regarding the West Coast and Interior Alaska Storms, dated November 18, 2013, with an accompanying letter was received. Administrative Order No. 267 regarding the City of Kwethluk power system failure, dated December 27, 2013 was received with an accompanying finance plan. Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the Senate accept the House invitation to meet in Joint Session. Without objection, it was so ordered.
