Pursuant to adjournment the House was called to order by Speaker                                                                
Chenault at 10:35 a.m.                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
Roll call showed 36 members present.  Representative Guttenberg had                                                             
been excused from a call of the House today.  Representatives                                                                   
Kreiss-Tomkins, Olson, and Tuck were absent and their presence was                                                              
noted later.                                                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Representative Reinbold.                                                            
Representative P. Wilson moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                 
the invocation be spread on the journal.  There being no objection, it

        With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all                                                              
    Alaskans, I offer this scripture and prayer:                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
     So do not fear for I am with you.  Do not be dismayed for I am                                                            
      your God.  I will strengthen you and help you.  I will uphold

    good of the state in a fiscally and morally responsible way,
