Most generous Heavenly Father, help us as elected officials to choose wisely for the common good of all. Help us in every situation to know and do the things that are right and just with soundness of judgment in making vital decisions. Pray that we overcome pressures and stress. Pray for unity and understanding. Father, I ask these things with a mind open to your word and a heart that trusts in your eternal care. Help us to be upright men and women of integrity, men and women honest and sincere in all that we do.
