Almighty God, I reflect many of our conversations when I have asked for: courage when I have felt vulnerable; wisdom when I felt at a loss for solutions; healing for those who are battling illness whether it is emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual; comfort and understanding when faced with grief and loss. I also think of the times when I chose not to ask for anything but simply to say thank you and how great thou art. Amen.
