The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Representative Munoz. Representative P. Wilson moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, With the rising of the sun this morning from the misty fjords of southern southeast to the gates of the arctic, we thank you for the blessings of this new day. Thank you for our beautiful state. Thank you for the privilege of serving you and those we represent. Help us to be people of peace. Give us the patience we need to purposefully complete our work. Help us to remember that we are united in our love of Alaska. Help us to share, to serve, and to seek the common good of all. Give us courage, integrity, and discernment for the days ahead. A message dated April 20, 2011, was read stating the Senate passed the following, and it is transmitted for consideration: FIRST READING AND REFERENCE OF SENATE BILLS SB 76 CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 76(FIN) by the Senate Finance Committee, entitled: 2011-04-20 House Journal Page 1121 "An Act making supplemental appropriations, capital appropriations, and other appropriations; amending appropriations; making appropriations to capitalize funds; and providing for an effective date." was read the first time and referred to the Finance Committee.
