With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer: Lord God, Creator God: I thank you for the gift of this day. If we can make a difference in someone's life today, help us to do so. If we can make this state a better place to live today, let us also do that. Lord, I pray that you allow us to see all the blessings you have given us and to use them for your glory. Today may we love more, appreciate more, speak kindly more, compliment more, understand more. Help us to judge less and assume the best in all who we encounter. We are all part of your creation and deserve to be an equal partner in 2011-01-28 House Journal Page 0134 your joy and grace.
