HB 284                                                                                                                        
The following, which was advanced to third reading from the March                                                               
14, 2012, calendar (page 1864), was read the third time:                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
     CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 284(FIN)                                                                                             
     "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan                                                                   
     program expenses of state government and for certain programs,                                                             
     capitalizing funds, amending appropriations, and making                                                                    
     reappropriations; and providing for an effective date."                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
**The presence of Representative Hawker was noted.                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
Representative Doogan moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                    
CSHB 284(FIN) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose                                                            
of considering Amendment No. 1.  There being no objection, it was so                                                            
ordered.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
The Speaker stated that, without objection, CSHB 284(FIN) would be                                                              
returned to second reading for all amendments.                                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
Amendment No. 1 was offered  by Representatives Doogan, Gardner,                                                                 
Miller, Gara, Petersen, Kawasaki, Holmes, Gruenberg, Kerttula, and

Page 77, following line 18:                                                                                                     
     Insert a new bill section to read:                                                                                         
"* Sec. 30.  PERMANENT FUND.  The sum of $2,000,000,000 is                                                                    
appropriated from the general fund to the Alaska permanent fund (art.                                                           
IX, sec. 15, Constitution of the State of Alaska)."                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Renumber the following bill sections accordingly.
