Heavenly Father, I come before your presence once again this day, grateful for the opportunity to bring unto you our prayers and supplications with thanksgiving, knowing you are a God who not only hears, but also answers our prayers. Lord, we put you first as we start this day, but may we also put you first in our lives. As this body meets here this day, I pray each individual will seek your will in all things. May you direct their thoughts that they may think on those things which are true, honest, and just. Give them wisdom as only comes from you. Please guide their words. Give them the strength and courage needed to act upon your guidance and to resist all pressures and temptations which are contrary. I ask you would bless all business conducted here today which is according to your will and brings glory to your name. 2010-03-17 Senate Journal Page 1860 Lord, I pray for each one present here and for their families as well.
