Our Father in heaven, we come before you today as a body of diverse people with different backgrounds and different religious beliefs and different concerns, but we do share one thing in common and that is that we all want the best for Alaska, and we all want to serve honorably. We ask you to please watch over this body today and in coming days that we will be able to go about our interactions with members in an honest, open, and yet understanding way. Please bless those members of our body that have health issues and family members with health issues that they might feel calm from thee and be able to concentrate on the work that we have here.
