Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Gardner: Page 1, line 3, following "necessary" (title amendment): Insert "and appropriate" Page 2, line 14: Following "necessary" Insert "and appropriate" Following "action" Insert ", after thoughtful consideration," Representative Gardner moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered, and the new title follows: HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 5 am Requesting the governor to provide energy security for all Alaskans by working on significant elements and components to support the timely construction of a natural gas bullet pipeline from the North Slope to the Cook Inlet region and to take necessary and appropriate action to assist and facilitate the process for a private entity to make a final investment decision to commit to the pipeline before November 1, 2010. The question being: "Shall HCR 5 am pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result:
