Let each of us marvel at the power of life to burst forth, and for growth to appear where dead-ends seemed to be. We read in the book of Revelation, "Behold, I make all things new." (Rev. 21:5) Help us to live with the expectation of "newness" today and every day. Old ideas transform with new perspectives, tired relationships rekindle with new appreciation. Old battles are laid aside with new understanding, and old ways of being and doing are enriched with new insights and inspiration. Let us carry this springtime state of mind into our work today. You see in us the seeds of new growth and a higher grasp of Truth, and Life, and Love. May we find and cherish that promise within ourselves, our neighbors, our state, and our world. 2007-04-13 Senate Journal Page 0824 With grateful hearts we thank You for Your love for us, and praise Your holy name.
