Our Dear Heavenly Father, It is our pleasure to be here in Your presence and know that You have the power and the glory to instruct us, guide us, and to be with us in all that we do. Big decisions bring about a lot of thought and care. We ask You to be the person, who in that guiding influence, keeps us in the palm of Your hand and allows us to make the right decisions. We ask You to take care of the families of the members and all the friends and the associates and to help us in these final few weeks to maintain ourselves in the best humor and mood so that we can do those things that are most pleasing to You, and coincidently, are the best decisions for the state. We ask You to be with us in all that we do and guide us in this day. Amen. 2006-04-27 Senate Journal Page 2960 Senator French led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
